AUMAN

Start with the route. Build the right truck.

AUMAN is FOTON’s heavy-truck family. For a useful quotation, start with the complete transport operation: the trailer or body, the loaded combination, the route and the destination market.

YOUR OPERATING BRIEF

Built around your requirements.

Long-haul freightContainer transportRegional fleet operations

Use these questions to prepare a useful enquiry. These are sourcing considerations, not a guarantee of any specific configuration.

  • What trailer or cargo body will the truck work with?
  • What are the required gross vehicle and combination weights?
  • What gradients, road surfaces and daily distances are expected?
  • Which steering side, emissions requirements and destination port apply?

BUYING GUIDE

AUMAN: tractor or rigid truck for your operation?

Start by deciding where the cargo will sit: on a trailer pulled by a tractor unit, or in a body mounted on the truck. That choice changes the information needed to assess the complete vehicle and its route.

If you need a tractor unit

  • Identify the trailer type and whether it is existing equipment or part of the requested supply.
  • Provide the expected loaded combination weight, trailer dimensions and coupling details for compatibility review.
  • Describe gradients, surfaces, distances and stopping patterns so the supplier can assess the proposed driveline and braking configuration.

If you need a rigid truck

  • Describe the cargo, maximum load and the body or specialist equipment to be installed.
  • Request confirmation of chassis/body compatibility, load distribution and equipment interfaces.
  • State delivery-site restrictions and whether the job is mainly road transport or includes demanding site access.

Compare complete configurations, not a single rating

Engine output alone cannot confirm suitability for your trailer, body or route. Ask for a coherent configuration covering the vehicle type, axle arrangement, coupling or body interfaces, transmission, permitted weights and destination requirements. Do not combine figures from different AUMAN versions.

The manufacturer lists AUMAN within its medium and heavy truck portfolio. The questions here are a purchasing brief, not confirmation that a particular tractor or rigid configuration is available for your market.
